How boats are kept in Cala Alcaufar
Boats either live in those old boat houses or lie on moorings in the cove through summer. The catch is that most of the boat houses were built for wooden llaüts, not for a modern hull with an outboard and a console.
What the boat gains ashore
Once the boat no longer fits the boat house, or the boat house no longer protects it properly, a warehouse is the sensible alternative. The boat winters dry, out of the salt air, with room around it to work.
